Managing and editing your job listings
How to edit, pause, close, and re-publish your listings from the Remote Jobster dashboard.
Finding your listings
All your listings are visible in the My Listings section of your dashboard. You can filter by status: Active, Paused, Closed, or Draft. Click any listing to open its management view.
Editing a live listing
Click "Edit" on any active listing to open the editor. Changes take effect immediately when you click "Save". There is no need to re-publish — your updated listing is live as soon as you save.
You can edit any field of a live listing except the listing creation date. If you make significant changes to a listing (e.g., changing the role entirely), consider closing and re-creating to ensure accurate analytics.
Pausing and closing listings
Pausing a listing hides it from search results temporarily without losing any data. Applications you have already received remain visible. Use pausing when you are caught up reviewing applications and do not want new ones while you process the current batch.
Closing a listing marks it as filled or cancelled and removes it from search results permanently. Closed listings and their associated applications remain accessible in your dashboard for record-keeping.
To re-open a closed listing (for example, if a hire falls through), click the listing and select "Re-publish". This creates a fresh listing with a new publication date.
