Brand Guidelines

Official guidelines for using the Remote Jobster brand. If you are writing about us, building an integration, or representing Remote Jobster in any context — please follow these guidelines.

The Logo

The Remote Jobster logo consists of a square mark with the letters R and J, and the wordmark. The orange dot above the mark is a deliberate brand element — it should always appear in approved compositions.

Icon mark

Use the icon mark alone only in contexts where the brand is already established — app icons, favicons, social profile photos.

Logo usage

Do

  • Use the logo on white or very light backgrounds
  • Use the white version on dark or indigo backgrounds
  • Maintain the minimum clear space equal to the height of the "R" letter around all sides
  • Scale proportionally — never stretch or compress
  • Use the approved color combinations only

Do not

  • Do not recolor the logo outside approved versions
  • Do not add shadows, outlines, or special effects
  • Do not rotate or flip the logo
  • Do not use the icon mark alone without the wordmark in external contexts
  • Do not place the logo on busy or low-contrast backgrounds
  • Do not modify or rearrange the logo components

Color palette

Our color system is built around a single primary indigo and a carefully restrained accent orange. Outside of these, rely on neutral grays.

Typography

We use two typefaces: Geist for display and interface, Inter for body copy. Both are available free via Google Fonts and Vercel.

Geist

Primary / Display · Weights: 400, 600, 700, 900

Remote hiring, done right.

Headlines, subheadings, UI elements. The primary typeface across all Remote Jobster properties.

Inter

Body / UI · Weights: 400, 500, 600

Connect your ATS in minutes and receive applications automatically.

Body text, labels, interface copy. Highly legible at small sizes.

Brand voice

How we write reflects who we are. Remote Jobster communicates with clarity, confidence, and genuine respect for the reader's time.

Clear, not clever

We say what we mean. We do not use jargon, buzzwords, or unnecessary complexity. If something can be said in fewer words, we use fewer words.

Direct, not cold

We are confident and direct without being transactional. We write like a knowledgeable colleague, not a brand.

Honest, not humble-bragging

We make specific claims we can back up. We do not inflate numbers, overstate features, or use superlatives without evidence.

Professional, not formal

We write in plain English, not legal or corporate prose. We use contractions. We talk to people, not at them.
